Predicting Alzheimer's Disease with Hybrid ANN-BBO algorithm Lead Investigator: Riya Naval Institution : ABV-IIITM, Gwalior E-Mail : riyanaval28@gmail.com Proposal ID : 650 Proposal Description: This is an ongoing project which aims to predict Alzheimer's with a hybrid ANN-Bio-geography Based Optimization Algorithm. The basic idea would be the closest estimation in a case of Alzheimer's where we would be differentiating the symptoms from possibility of it being Huntington's or Parkinson's or any reversible dementia based on adding weights to the parameters(positive and negative) and progressively improving them in each epoch. An algorithmic approach may make the task of estimation preferably much accurate. The Hybrid algorithm is developed by me and I expect to get much better results for Alzheimer's diagnosis than simple BP-ANN. I would therefore need a vast data set with as many relatable parameters that lie common to Alzheimer's and any other dementia causing diseases.
